You Belong to Christ

1 Cor. 3:23

Let us continue our short discourse that we had a couple of days back on “to whom do you belong” today.

If anyone believes in Jesus Christ, he is a new person and, he belongs to Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:23 says, “You belong to Christ.” Christ is a gift, a gift who purchased us by his blood. We have been purchased by the blood of God.

As such, we will be tempted daily. Let us, like Joseph, stand and say, “How could I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?”

Since we belong to Christ, to what should we say today, “I cannot do this”?
