God wondered

Is. 59:16

Why would the Creator of everything be in wonderment? What would be so intriguing?

Isaiah 59:16 says, “He saw that there was no man, And wondered that there was no intercessor.” This was more than 700 years ago, during the time of Isaiah the prophet; during the time when men did not know much about interceding or praying.

When Jesus came, he taught us how to pray. Now, 2000 years had passed since we have been taught how to pray. Do we still pray, or have prayers been neglected? Have intercessions gone? If so, God would really be amazed at us and be even more in wonderment!

The Kneeling Christian (Author unknown) talks about these things. It said, “Why are many Christians so often defeated? Because they pray so little. Why are many church−workers so often discouraged and disheartened? Because they pray so little. Why do most men see so few brought “out of darkness to light” by their ministry? Because they pray so little. Why are not our churches simply on fire for God? Because there is so little real prayer.”

As we pass through a difficult time, let us pray, let us intercede so that the LORD may answer our prayers.

Jude 1 Despite the fact that the letter of Jude is short, it contains significant messages. Be that as it may, today, we will take a gander at verse 1a. Jude 1 says, “Jude, a worker of Jesus Christ and brother of James.” From here, we realize Jude is the author. But, which Jude? There…
