Our course and ministry

The Apostle Paul put all emphasis on his course and ministry given to him. He said, “I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God’s grace” (Acts 20:24). Paul was emulating Jesus Christ who also took the cup given to Him (cf. Lk. 22:41-44).

How do we take the responsibilities given to us today?

What would ever become of us if Jesus had not taken the cup? What would ever happen to us if Paul had not considered his responsibilities that important? What would become of us if we also do not take up our responsibilities seriously?
