Not a bone was broken

As the Israelites were about to leave Egypt, they were told to observe the Passover Feast. They were instructed not to break the bones of the lamb, whose blood was smeared over and on the sides of their doors. This blood saved them from the last plague (Ex. 12:46). The Israelites were instructed not to break the bones of the Passover Lamb elsewhere (Num. 9:12). David also wrote of it (Ps. 34:20).

The Lamb of God, Jesus Christ came. He was crucified on the cross, and not a bone was broken (Jn. 19:33).

Have you ever wondered about the profundity of the scriptures and of the amazing plan of salvation? Just as the bones of the Passover Lamb was unbroken, Jesus, the Passover lamb for believers was also spared.
