Shaking of the heavens and the earth

Hag. 2:6-7; Heb. 12:26-28

It will not be like the normal earthquakes we know today. The heavens and the earth will be shaken. The seas, the dry lands and the nations will be shaken.

Why?

They will shake because they will not last forever. Not only shake, they will be removed.

But there is something that will never be shaken. That is the kingdom that is promised to us. 2 Timothy 2:19 says, “God’s firm foundation stands.”

Hebrews 12:28 also tells us, “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us give thanks by which we offer to God an acceptable worship with reverence and awe.”

Yes, let us give thanks to the LORD always and work for Him with joy.
