Trumpets, empty jars and unlit torches

Judges 7:16

The 300 with Gideon, about to fight the Midianites who were like the sands on the sea shore in numbers, had only trumpets, empty jars and torches with them. But as they fought “for the LORD and for Gideon” they blew their trumpets, shouted, broke their jars and lit their torches, their enemies fled and killed each other. As we are also fighting our numerous battles, we might not have much. But if we have the courage, faith and are obedient to the will of God, we will always emerge victorious because the LORD will fight with us and for us. Gideon’s enemies were also defeated long before the battle began
