Satan

Mat. 4:1-11

Let us quickly look at the temptation of Jesus Christ and look into four lessons today:

  1. Jesus was tempted soon after His baptism. Let us also understand that the tempter and accuser can also tempt us when we feel strongest in faith.
  2. Jesus was tempted after his fast of fourty days and night. We should also remember that Satan will tempt us at our weakest times using our weakest points.
  3. Though Satan tempted the LORD, He never sinned. We can also overcome temptations.
  4. The LORD overcame the tempter with the words of God. Let us try to meditate more on the words of God today and seek to understand them. They are our best weapons in our fight against the tempter.
