“Nevertheless, I am continually with you; you hold my right hand.”

-Psalm 73:23

Asaph wrote the 73rd Psalm. He said he was stupid and arrogant and like a beast toward God. But he continued with the all-important word “nevertheless” saying that God was holding his right hand.

How wonderful! We may not have anything to boast about. We may be stupid, arrogant, and know nothing of anything. But God loves all all the same.

If we were to approach God according to our wisdom and good works, none of us would qualify. But God loves us for what we are – brute beasts, ignorant, arrogant and stupid.

While we were still sinners, God gave us His Son so that we may live.

Praise the LORD!
