Jesus our life

He is not God of the dead, but of the living, for all live to Him.

Lk. 20:38

The resurrection of Jesus certainly proves His divinity.

Jesus is the life, the God of the living. During His ministries, everywhere He went, he healed the sick and raised the dead. Where He is, death cannot be.

DL Moody, in his book Pleasure & Profit in Bible Study (1895:35) wrote, “I remember once being called to preach a funeral sermon, and looked the four gospels through to find one of Christ’s funeral sermons, but do you know He never preached one? He broke up every funeral He ever attended. The dead awaked when they heard His voice.”

Everyone who believes in Jesus will also be raised and be with Him forever.
