How long will you be slack?

Jos. 18:3

The Israelites had taken a big part of Canaan and “the land lay subdued before them” (Jos. 18:1). But many of them had not taken possession of much of the land. Joshua said to them, “How long will you be slack about going in and taking possession of the land that the LORD, the God of your ancestors, has given you?” (Jos. 18:3).

Indeed, being slack and being idle is one of the worst thing that affects many of the churches today. The Israelites were so accustomed to seeing the great works of the LORD and they slackened.

Jesus is coming soon. Let us not slack, but work in all earnestness for the glory of His kingdom for He has overcome the world (Jn. 16:33).
