The LORD needs it
Matt. 21:3
As Jesus was to enter Jerusalem, he sent His disciples ahead, telling them, “Go into the village ahead of you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her; untie them and bring them to me. If anyone says anything to you, just say this, ‘The Lord needs them.’ And he will send them immediately.”
He is God, and He could have taken the donkey and used it in whatever ways He wanted. But He didn’t. He took it only after its owner knew about it and gave it to Him.
The LORD needs everyone of us. But He does not use us just because he can. He uses us to the extent we open our hearts to Him and obey Him.
If we say, “God does not use me like others,” or “I have not been used by the LORD,” let us take a look inside and see how far we are really willing to give ourselves to Him. Maybe that’s the reason why God uses only a few of us today.
