Sought out, not forsaken

We search for things we lost. Sometimes we find them, sometimes we don’t. The LORD sought us out when we were lost. Let Him be praised!

We lose things even after we found them. But the LORD does not. He never forsakes us, those whom He sought out.

Isaiah 62:12 says, “They shall be called, ‘The Holy People, The Redeemed of the LORD’; and thou shall be called, ‘Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken.”

This is how deep the vindication and salvation of the LORD is. He sought us out and never leaves us. How comforting.
