About Jesus
As Philip was with the Ethiopian eunuch, “starting with this scripture, he proclaimed to him the good news about Jesus” (Acts 8:35). The eunuch then believed and was baptised.
What we want to focus on today is the ‘scripture’ and ‘the good news about Jesus.’ The majority of our words and speeches do not have the scriptures or Jesus anymore. We are just adding spices to our words to attract people. Just as spices without any real food, they are good only to attract flies. Sermons and words without the scriptures and the good news of Jesus Christ are the same.
In our lives, in our speeches and sermons, let us return to the scriptures and the good news of Jesus Christ.
